I'm pretty handy with a sewing machine... I wonder if I could actually make one of these...

Maybe we WON'T have to wait until June 2016... I can still immagine a use and purpose for open/closed beta... There are alot of planets... and I can immagine they spend a lot of time looking for stuff that is "broken"... I'm sure they could use help... even if they had an open beta for a week or 2 and encouraged people to discover as much as possible we would still only hit like 1% of everything.

As for other things to spend time on... Wildstar, Halo 5, and Battlefront... (maybe Fallout 4... )

And I've decided to learn lua... been meaning to for a long time, but just havent gotten around to it.

Notice at 0:57 it says discovered by SEANPG2015?  I love how they always have something named in relation to whatever event they are doing at that given time.

The math is actually one of the things that intrigues me... it is incredible.

I think the ends justify the means... we need more people to explore the galaxy of NMS or we'll NEVER explore the entire thing.

If I understand the mathematics of what they are claiming, we could have every human being on the planet exploring it for their entire lives and only explore a tiny fraction of it.

18.4 quintillion planets divided by 7.1 billion people on Earth currently which means that there is about 2.5 billion planets for every man, woman, and child on the planet.  So if you had 1 second to explore each of "YOUR" planets... it would still take you about 80 years.
