3d printing

I'm sure you're all aware already about the awesome stuff people are producing via 3d printers. Here's a link to some free designs if you happen to have your own machine, or feel like placing an order with an online printing service. http://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=No+man%27s+sky&sa=
I just found out my work has a bunch of 3d printers (and a backlog of requests) but I managed to get my requests approved to day either way. I'll post the results whenever they find time to make them for me. If you find any other designs, and websites that share them please let me know!

Re: 3d printing

Sweet! I have known about the model ships people have printed. Wish I had a 3D printer myself. I hope to get one some day. Closest thing we have to the replicators from Star Trek so far.

Re: 3d printing

Saw one at my local barnes&noble. Not sure if they offer printing service, classes, or what. I image it will become the next big thing at public libraries.

Re: 3d printing

I've never seen a 3D printer in person. I still would love to own one someday though.
